@tjrogers with a 2010 switch 180° down El Toro. ? Here’s the backstory via TJ: “This was a crazy week back in February 2010. I drove all the way from Arizona to California for the weekend with some homies to skate, and on the way back to AZ we decided to check out this infamous beast.. I ended up trying it about 7 times spontaneously and never rode away.. landed on it 4 out of the 7, and couldn’t walk after the last try.. One week later I asked the homies Tyrone & Brendan (@alwaysfilming, @on1sk8life ) to drive back out to California on Sunday before I had to go back to Canada the next day. I called @billweiss to get a photographer to come out and for him to film an angle. We left AZ at 4am Sunday morning to get to California super early. We warmed up at a spot not too far and we went straight to #eltoro Two tries later, I ended up landing it! This angle never got used but I’m stoked on how @alwaysfilming filmed it! Cannot believe this was 9 years ago.. Thanks to everyone that helped me along the way to land this trick. It was definitely a dream come true!” ?:@alwaysfilming #berrics
