My Cinderella story ( I write this without prejudice or hate please read it without judging me. ) : #thegown for @mrgayindiaofficial well... it’s truly one of the few #Cinderella moments of my life and i felt it was important for me to share this story, as even beauty queens get the step mother treatment sometimes. Sourcing a stunning gown for an event like this turned out to be a nightmare as always, my office approached (as norm) a few good designers, unfortunately most of their PR’s did not want to be associated with the event as it was “Gay” event. Some of their PR’s made all sort of excuses from “oh we do only film promotions “ to “we have no stock” to “it’s not an event befitting our policies” (before going off the record on phone to say why is she doing this kind of stuff )... Since we were short on time and the ball was about to begin, ?fairy God sister @sushantdivgikr had a black bespoke skirt tailored for me and I wore a stunning crystal studded corset designed & gifted by @officialswapnilshinde back in 2011 following a show for @SWAROVSKI .... @ragebydkloset and @ashu_mois continued to sprinkle their magic dust of all other necessities of #makeup and #lovingcare. While many fashion gurus and critics were bored with my humble ensemble and it truly wasn’t a @vogueindia moment for them, for me ... it was a real fairytale moment for me...we had a fun time putting it together, we had a great rainbow event that we are very proud of, the media support has been so wonderful, I felt great to have a princess moment after two twin pregnancies and very tragic last year, I hope that next time event we will have a few more fairy godmothers and god sisters to keep their magic blessing on me.. So my dearest friends, high fashion gown or not please know that my crown is not invisible.
