Sundance Kids! Top pic is of me & @samosier 25 years ago from this week, when Clerks won the Filmmakers Trophy at Sundance 1994. As I interviewed filmmaker after filmmaker for @imdb all weekend, I was reminded of the two crazy @vancouverfilmschool kids who came to the ‘Dance a quarter century back and suddenly found all their indie film dreams coming true. Years later, Scott’s professional reality would far exceed his film school dreams when he co-directed the @grinchmovie (now available on home video). But it all starts with a conversation between an American and a Canadian who met in film school - a conversation they continue to this day on the nearly 12 year old SModcast podcast.
