One month ago➡️Today...2019 U.S. National Pair Champions! I would say it’s a pretty amazing feeling? I have so many emotions and I’m not sure if I will ever be able to put them into words. Through all of this we never gave up on each other, our team, or ourselves. A month ago, I was being wheeled through a hospital basement, in my long program costume, unsure of what would come next. I told myself to remember this moment. Yesterday I used that to give me the courage to fight. This medal isn’t just ours, it’s for everyone who has been by our side through all of this. We share this with you. Thank you to the audience for cheering so loud and giving us the energy to put out a performance like that. I hope that our story will encourage you to keep fighting no matter what the circumstances are, to always believe in yourself even when you have doubts, and most importantly to know that you are worthy of an incredible life.
