Weekend of recovery right here ??? I’ve been working overtime filming lots of follow-along workouts for you guys for my Fitness February Challenge ??? PLUS going to adult gymnastics and sprint/long jump training so my body is S.O.R.E!! ? haha BUT I’m feeling strong and flexible and making sure I am doing my yoga, stretching everyday and getting a sports massage once a week for my recovery ??
If there is one thing I can’t recommend enough to make your training more effective is RECOVERY! Like actual recovery techniques and not just a day off...??Invest in spending a little extra time stretching, ice bath/cold ocean swims, eat a wide variety of nourishing food, and if you train a lot GET A SPORTS MASSAGE regularly!
In the long run, you will save so much time, money and training progress that you will otherwise spend on rehabilitating injuries and chronic overtraining!! ??
Your body is working hard for you everyday, give it some love in return!! ? #recoveryiskey #prevention #healthybodyhealthylife
