#tbt This was life changing moment waaay before solo music. I was asked to sing at a huge award show in a tribute to Lionel Richie with these Legends. Stevie Wonder James Ingram and Natalie Cole! I was nervous but made it through sound check star struck and all! Lol I remember right before the curtain went up I guess James Ingram could see the fear in my face, he lean over to me and whispered “you’re supposed to be here.” Then he smiled and grabbed my hand. I took a deep breath and the curtain went up! Sometimes you’re there, in your moment, and it just takes a little reminder that you’re worthy and you’re right where you’re supposed to be! #2009 #passadenaca
