I almost don’t want to talk about this place because it’s such a hidden gem. Alphonse island. There’s only one resort here and it’s perfect. Once home to mainly fisherman retreats, the resort has begun to cater to people seeking leisure, aka me. I’m huge on animals and definitely don’t fish (although it’s all catch and release and no barbs on the hooks) but love leisurely activities like some of the ones I’ve done here. I’ve spent time visiting the island garden, visiting the tortoise nursery, going on a cycle tour, snorkeling, and visiting nearby tiny islands. I’m pretty much in a dream here so please don’t wake me up. ⁣⁣
