Reflecting back on this past weekend, it wasn’t ultimately the result we were looking for. However, we skate two wonderful programs infront of an amazing Canadian crowd and that in itself is something to be proud of! The hours we have spent perfecting our programs together, leading to a new Canadian Freedance record is truly an exciting accomplishment for us. Having spent half of my career living and training in Canada, is a huge honor for me on a personal level.
Truthfully, the thing I’m most proud of is the way we have touched so many people (old fans and new) with our Starry Night program. The story is deeply universal and touches emotions on all levels. For me, it's special that our sport is able to be more than just a performance, but a true art form that evokes emotion. Thank you all for being apart of our celebration of Van Gogh!!!! ❤️✨❤️✨
