It's a great to be a compassionate leader, but it's a great weakness to be an emotionally unstable one. I could have chosen any day to release my book but I chose MLK day. There are countless attributes I admire about Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., but his ability to not let his emotions control him in the face of hate is one I desire to master as a leader. If you know body language, you can see King was indignant by this reporter’s inept question. However, instead of yelling, he channeled his anger in order to articulate truth in such a way, that it could only bring conviction. Thank you Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. for fearlessly leading in the spirit of power, love and self-control (2 Tim 1:7).
