Today in #HipHopHistory: #HappyBDayPitbull! #Miami's own #ArmandoChristianPerez (born Jan. 15, 1981), known by the stage name #Pitbull or #MrWorldwide, is a rapper, singer, actor and record producer. His first recorded mainstream performance was on a solo track from #LilJon's 2002 album #KingsofCrunk. In 2004, @ピットブル released his debut album M.I.A.M.I. under TVT Records. It included production producers Lil Jon and #JimJonsin. Pitbull later released his second album #ElMariel, in 2006 and his third, #TheBoatlift, in 2007. His fourth album, #Rebelution (2009), included his breakthrough hit single "#IKnowYouWantMe (#CalleOcho)", which peaked at number two on the US Billboard Hot 100. Pitbull's 2011 album #PlanetPit, featured the single "#GiveMeEverything", which was his first US number-one single. His 2013 track "#Timber" from his Meltdown EP topped the charts in twenty nations, including the US and UK. He performed the song "#WeAreOne (Ole Ola)" along with #JenniferLopez and Claudia Leitte, which served as the official theme of the 2014 #FIFA #WorldCup. Growing up, he was influenced by the #MiamiBass genre and has cited #CeliaCruz and #WillyChirino as sources of inspiration for his music.
