Back in 2017, I worked on what is now the largest art mural in Las Vegas, on the side of the Plaza Hotel & Casino. The mural is called “Cultivate Harmony,” which is meant to have decorative appeal, as well as remind people that peace and harmony with each other and the planet itself are the only way to maintain what sustains us. The mural is 17 or 18 stories high and visible from many vantage points in Downtown, Las Vegas. I remember working on a piece this scale was grueling, and Vegas’ unusually cold and windy weather took a serious toll on us for 5 out of 6 of the days we were working.
