It’s the year of celebrating designers of Chinese origin (educated all over, based all over) with the launch of the inaugural @BOF China Prize in March and the increased presence of Chinese designers at the main fashion weeks. My recent trips to Shanghai have really opened my eyes to the wave of talent that are both familiar and new so this is a project that is particularly fun and meaningful for me
