Today The Duchess of Rothesay, (as The Duchess of Cornwall is known in Scotland), Chancellor of @uniofaberdeen, visited the university and awarded an Honorary Degree to Edward Stevenson.
Edward has worked in the University’s biomedical physics department for 42 years and supported the pioneering team that created the world’s first clinical MRI scanner.
Her Royal Highness met students Karolina Kania and Jessica McClure at the research lab at the Centre for Arthritis and Musculoskeletal Health.
The Duchess has served as Chancellor of the University since 2013 and also Presided over the installation of the new Vice Chancellor today. ? PA @クラレンス邸
