Yesterday’s post highlighted my first featured story for National Geographic (@ナショナルジオグラフィック). For me, just shooting for the magazine wasn’t the goal. The goal has always been to evolve. The more assignments I was provided to shoot (a total of 10), the more my photography evolved and changed…sometimes for the better sometimes for the worse. Regardless of taste or time, I was always moving forward. Color and composition, light and layers…it all began to unfold in a different way in front of the lens as time progressed. 8 years into this, like any relationship, the bonds of time becomes deeper and more meaningful. There are no words to express my gratitude towards this institution and what it brings to the world.
