Aaaand back to real life I go, with a lil detour via... Switzerland. This pic was taken on NYE before I abandoned my winter suitcase in Gstaad, where it has been patiently awaiting my return! Can’t recommend enough taking a few weeks out with only a backpack and no schedule for anyone in need of some serious TLC. Felt totally burned out and quite sad after a few personal struggles last year and finally feel like myself again! Don’t forget to carve out some time to look after ur body and soul — this wasn’t an expensive trip at all, very go-with-the-flow and totally doable on a budget (shoutout to the best tourguide imaginable @ガラ・ゴンザレス, luh you!), but the benefits have been immeasurable.
Now, gotta collect my stuff and get back to work. Would be totally rude to not remind myself what mountain air smells like, cheese tastes like and poudreuse feels like before officially heading back to the office tho, right? ?: @holliebowden
