I am a person who attended public school all her life, both my parents were public school teachers, my day job before I worked where I now work was in public school, and I still volunteer at public school and my sister is a public school teacher (this is the most important for if you wrong her I will hex you:) . The #lausd teachers are going on strike for exquisitely good reasons and I hope they are responded to with fairer wages/conditions and this wraps up quickly because public school teachers are the BEST. PERIOD.
