Injustice against women happens all over the world, and empowering young women to tell their stories is absolutely crucial. The clear overlap between environmental issues and women’s issues is something we are encouraging young aspiring filmmakers to shine a light on, by submitting personal stories to our Girls impact the World Film Festival & Connecther, with the IS Green award sponsored by the Ian Somerhalder Foundation. Submissions for GITWFF 2019 are now open and we can’t wait to see your work. If you are a high school or undergraduate student and have a passion for action and a story/cause about women’s issues then this is for you!
