Yesterday The Princess Royal made several visits around Gloucestershire.
Her Royal Highness opened the newly renovated Jeffries Arena at Yate Outdoor Sports Complex – touring the facilities, watching sports demonstrations, and meeting coaches and volunteers involved in the running of the Centre.
As Patron of the National Association of Citizens Advice Bureau, The Princess Royal then met caseworkers and clients of the Thornbury branch. The organisation provides free, independent, confidential and impartial advice to everyone on their rights and responsibilities.
Lastly, HRH visited Gloucestershire Archives, where The Princess opened and toured the new Heritage Hub and viewed a selection of Royal Charters and historic documents relating to her home, Gatcombe Park.
