Fantine’s fall. I’ve been waiting for months to share these images and because the episode aired last night, I finally can. (Make sure to scroll to the end to see a clip too…) This part of Fantine’s journey was the most intense, grueling, all-consuming, raw, and vulnerable I’ve ever been as an actor. It required a different part of me I hadn’t yet exposed and explored. This particular day of filming was one of those unforgettable days you dream of as an actor. Letting myself go to such depths physically and emotionally and not caring about how I looked or what anyone else thought was the most freeing and rewarding experience. I went to bed that night beyond exhausted in every way possible, but extremely proud and grateful. I am so honored to have been given the opportunity to play a character like Fantine that requires I reach deep down within myself in a way I didn’t know I was capable of. My director Tom Shankland believed I could from day one and saw the transformation in me. I’m eternally thankful and forever moved...
