I spent seven days by my fav beach up north - Weststrand on Darss. It’s always ragged by wind and tide, but after a heavy storm on Jan 1st, it was even wilder with debris and fallen trees. This time I stayed in Prerow, about an hour walk through a forest from the beach. You can also stay in Ahrenshoop if you wanna be super close by. If you’re by car, stay in Hessenburg’s Kranichhotel, a pretty gem of a guesthouse in the countryside. I wrote about it on stilinberlin.de - look it up or check the link in my stories.
