Swipe ?? to see my hair transformation since 2017. I started wearing @naturalbeadedrowsextensions exactly 2 years ago. When I first got these extensions, I was feeling devastated about my natural hair. I had over processed and bleached my hair way too much. Who remembers those blonde hair days?! At the time of being blonde, my hair would look great right out of the salon. But months later, I would notice breakage. Every month it got a little bit worse and eventually my hair looked like I had layers in them from the breakage. Getting hair extensions done professionally was a splurge, but it was life changing! I know, I always preach about feeling good about who you are with or without makeup. Which I completely stand by. But we all know that boost of confidence we feel when we curl our hair, put on some makeup or put on a nice outfit. I’ve always been obsessed with my hair since I was a kid so watching my long silky hair break off was not very fun ☹️ Just wanted to share this hair post bc a lot of you have been asking about how my extensions are going. Happy to report- 2 years later, my hair has grown so much. It’s now the same length as my hair extensions and I get extensions to add volume. My hair has stayed healthy throughout this process bc these extensions do not pull out my hair. I also went darker so my hair is more low maintenance and I only use heat in my hair about twice a week. Hope this answers your questions!
