After a 23 hour drive Joe is finally at @centraltexaspigrescue where they specialize in rehabilitating pigs who have been starved to stay small. He still has a long way to go and may always be a “special needs” pig due to the damage done to his body from malnutrition, but he now he has the best chance in the world. This magical wonderland has over 200 pigs so he will get to hang with other pigs and have 24-hour care from people who know way more than I do. To keep up with his progress and stupid butt, follow the angels at @centraltexaspigrescue. He will stay here until I’m done with my stand up tour (if you see it, you’ll notice I won’t be home at all to micromanage him) and after I shoot my special in March, we will figure out based on his health needs where the best place is for him to live full time. Once Joe is out of the woods I will share the details of his health horror show and the lengths we have gone to keep him alive. It’s just very bleak and disturbing and I don’t want to share negative images until we are in the clear. If you unfollow me because Joe isn’t currently in my house anymore, I completely understand.
