This picture sums up my year perfectly !
Ups and downs all the way trough, injuries, doubts, and anxiety played a big factor!
I wouldn’t say that I am happy about it, but I would say that I am thankful about it. I learned so much about my mind and body,and giving up as never been an option, I am so thankful of the support I received all along the year!
Remember that to be happy is not to have a sky without a storm, a road without accidents, a work without fatigue, relations without disappointments. To be happy is to find strength in forgiveness, hope in battles, security in moments of fear, love in discord. It is not only to taste the smile, but also to reflect on the sadness. This is not only to celebrate successes, but to learn the lessons of chess. It's not just about feeling happy with applause, but about being happy in anonymity. To be happy is not a destiny, but a success for those who can travel in themselves. To be happy is to stop becoming a victim and become the author of your destiny.
