As 2018 comes to a close we can all reflect on the past year and focus on the highlights - refusing to live life on a merry go round and saying no to negativity and things that we don’t need in our lives.
Instead we choose to rise - to embrace every moment like our first, to have gratitude for our loved ones, to cherish our relationships, and to welcome the opportunity for personal growth.
This year, I realized how much I missed expressing myself through movement on the ice. To me, there’s no place like it. I’m fortunate that I’m able to share my sacred space with all of you even though my performing days are more or less behind me.
Thank you @oniceperspectives for sharing the ice and your mad skating skills in filming the sport I love. Thank you @dtsantamonica for letting me drop in on public skate. The ice rink is such a gem in Santa Monica! Thank you to my amazing sis @karenwkwan for your artistry and grace. I love that I get to spend time with you on the ice again. And thank you @andradaymusic for your heroic voice and powerful words: “You're broken down and tired
