Looking back at 2018.. This year has been so full of ups and downs, nauseating can hardly begin to describe it.
I finished a pro season in China, continued training with the US women’s indoor national team @usavwnt (this was the 2nd year of the quad leading up to the 2020 Olympics), found a sweet place to live in Hermosa, tore my left MCL, spent 4 months recovering with the help and support of USA staff & teammates, lost any opportunities to compete this summer, missed the market to go overseas, got healthy enough to play fully again, had a “f*ck it” moment and decided to go play in AVP Chicago with Elise Zappia, ventured into beach volleyball, lost several toenails (RIP), found a new family with @platform1440 (thanks for adopting me), found a new family with @usavbeach (thanks for adopting me as well), finished 13th in San Jose P1440 with @prilima13 (my 1st main draw tournament), started working out with stud trainers at @ocfasttwitch (new vertical PR of 10’9.5”), became an avid @sohoyoga member (obsessed), finished 5th in Huntington P1440 with @corinnequiggle, made new friends and new connections, but also began to fall in love with my own solitude.
And now, here I am.
