I just finished the final edit of my next memoir #thenitfellapart and sat down to play piano to celebrate(this is what sober middle aged guys do to celebrate, or at least what this sober middle aged guy does). The next memoir is dark. Hopefully funny at times, hopefully insightful in places, but it’s got some parts that are very very dark(I mean, by way of example: it opens with a suicide attempt). But to quote Hemingway: ‘most of us are broken, some of us are stronger in the broken places’. Oh the book comes out May 2019, on the 20th anniversary of the release of ‘play’. Spoiler alert: the suicide attempts weren’t successful.
