INSTANT EXFOLIATING SCALP SCRUB
•YOU’RE SWEET. One of the toughest product decisions I had to make last year was whether to use salt or sugar in this formula. Thanks to my favorite chemist kween @nikitaswilson, I went with sugar. Both have SO many benefits but it came down to the fact that sugar is way more hydrating than salt. There are 2 sizes of sugar crystals in this formula so you can exfoliate on a macro and micro level at the same time. •FLAKE YA LATER. ?? A lot of people have been asking if these products will help with dandruff, psoriasis, dermatitis, etc. This specific collection is non-medicated. It will definitely remove flakes, oil and buildup on the scalp but it won’t keep a condition from returning if you have a deeper issue other than just dryness. I hope that makes sense. I’ll be working on products over the next year+ to help on a deeper level but for now this is where I wanted to start! •TEXTURE + TIP. When you first dispense a little of the scrub you’re going to find that it’s thick, almost jelly-like. That’s intentional ?‍?. The pointed tip will help you part hair into sections and apply it right where you want it, while the texture of it will help it stay on your scalp and not crumble/slide off until you’re ready to exfoliate. Even the tiniest drops of water on your hands will make the scrub move around like a dream. •WHEN + WHERE: I always apply this in the shower on thoroughly wet hair before I shampoo + condition. Gently massage in tiny circles using the pads of your finger tips. If you want to pre-soften dry skin or flaky patches before doing your scrub, rub a little bit of the Milk Oil (from my previous post) into those spots before you get in the shower. •OBVI. Just like with everything in this collection, it’s silicone, paraben, phthalate & sulfate free. Color safe + keratin safe + cruelty free as ALWAYS.
