9 months pregnant | 4 months postpartum ✨ I’m always scared to post these kinds of photos because of the backlash I’ll inevitably receive ? I’ve actually had this saved on my camera roll since I turned 4 months postpartum 2 weeks ago and haven’t had the courage to share until now because honestly, I just don’t want the drama ? But then there’s another part of me that feels like this is important to share these things...added to the fact that this photo reflects my journey so if I want to share it I should! ❤️ Anyway ?This is me 4 months post baby number 4. This pregnancy was my fittest one, but by no means my easiest! I really only started working out properly and eating healthy in the 3rd trimester when my mind frame shifted...I was feeling super tired, run down and experiencing tons of back ache & pelvic pain (Andrea was back-to-back and basically bent my pelvis ??). So I decided to take control of the situation and enjoy my last pregnancy as best I could! It worked...my energy levels were sky high, I felt fit & strong and my skin was glowing! ??? Not only that but I believe that because of these choices my postpartum journey was WAY quicker & more enjoyable. I lost a total of 15kg but I want to stress that I did things the right way...you need to listen to your body & take it slow! ✋??? Things I did do: ✅ Breastfeed exclusively ?? This will help you go back to your pre-baby size even if you don’t work out...I breastfed all four of my babies and highly recommend it ❤️ ✅ Do a postpartum safe 21 min @lucywyndhamread workout 5 days a week. I also did her workouts during pregnancy, they are short, effective and require no equipment or gym membership. ???? I like to get mine done first thing in the morning ? ✅ Eat a balanced diet of 80% healthy and 20% not so healthy foods ?? I definitely cannot stick to any diet, I hate feeling hungry or deprived so I go by this rule and it works for me ???? For my own mental sanity, I need sweets in my life! ? I just try to keep my basic meals healthy and then I treat myself when I get a sweet craving! ✅ Drink 2.7L water everyday ? I keep a 900ml water bottle with me at all times & refill it 3x!
