Riley was thrown from her mother’s pouch when they were hit by car. Riley’s mother was killed on impact and Riley was rushed to the Australia Zoo Wildlife Hospital to be treated for a fractured arm and lacerations. Thanks to specialised surgery, treatment and rehabilitation, Riley will one day be able to be released back into the wild.
