Here's a photo from today of Chicken the declawed kitty.?
It's her last day in Ohio. She's looking at kitties outside the window who are running around and playing with healthy paws with claws. The way ALL cats should be. Tomorrow Chicken will be on her way to the St Louis area to go into a foster home and will participate in a clinical trial on Jan. 7th, for a new pain med to help cats who have been declawed and are suffering from the brutal effects of this barbaric amputation procedure.?? Please give a big thank you to the Cassie and Nirvana and their families. They are the ones who are driving Chicken on her long trip. Also please give a big thank you to Mary and her family. She will be fostering Chicken and taking her to her clinical trial and doctor appointments! They are my heroes!❤️❤️❤️
Chicken will get the best care from Dr Marcy Hammerle at The Pet Doctor​ in O'Fallon, Missouri.

Hopefully it will make people think twice before they have their beloved, healthy kitties mutilated.
It's just so sad that in this day and age, we still have thousands of veterinarians and cat owners in America who are doing this inhumane and harmful procedure to cats for the welfare of a sofa or other lame excuses.
