Christmas in Japan means KFC!!! And cake with strawberries on top
I have mentioned this to my friends even before the day, that I wanna have KFC for Christmas. I saw it in manga that in exchange for proper roasted chicken for christmas dinner, they got KFC instead. Long story short, it’s thanks to a good advertising campaign tens of years ago from KFC and ever since then it’s deeply rooted in Japanese culture. Though honestly, they mistake the chicken experience with Thanksgiving Turkey from America
But hey. It’s a good business for KFC Japan, and it brings a whole different culture of Christmas to Japanese families. So all is good! I had to queue for 1 hour to get my Christmas dinner though Kim said she’s okay with anything, but I insisted my first Christmas should be about KFC! Got a whole set and now my stomach is greasy ??? Thanks Kim for accompanying my Christmas. And no, the dinner is no way sponsored or affiliated with KFC, though a friend told me that in fact I should have charged KFC for this promotion lol
Anyway this pic is taken just using iphone and inside Kim’s apartment. I didnt prepare any props or anything for this shot. Next year I promised I would make a better KFC Christmas pic ?
