Starting my morning with a hike up Runyon Canyon. I’ve been indoors for the past 4-5 days caring for my dog. It’s hard to focus on anything else when your furry companion is sick!!
We tend to put our own health and wellbeing last as we try to help and care for our loved ones, and in theory this might sound wonderful, but in practice it simply doesn’t work. If you don’t take care of yourself, no one else will!! You will be the one to suffer and as a result you won’t be able to offer any help and care to anyone else!
I pushed myself out even tho I felt guilty but I needed some fresh air and exercise.
