Outgoing House Speaker Paul Ryan delivered a farewell address at the Library of Congress, marking his departure after more than two decades on Capitol Hill. The Wisconsin Republican announced in April that he would be retiring from Congress at the end of his term. In his speech, Ryan warned about the current state of political discourse, saying, "Too often, genuine disagreement quickly gives way to intense distrust.
