Wow. Thank you @chrisbeifong for creating this touching gift. Last month my cat that I’ve loved for 10 years was tragically killed by coyotes. She was my family, my best friend, my kindred spirit. I mourned for her, and was beyond devastated. I fell into absolute despair. That following morning, in dramatic fashion, I cried out for her in my backyard. If only I could hold her one more time...then out of nowhere, this beautiful wild cat emerges from the bushes and comforts me. She followed me into my house, and has stayed ever since. Strangely, she is also a domestic short hair like my old kitty, but calico pattern. Coincidentally, my old cat’s tragic end, this beautiful calico is a reminder that miracles exist. Perhaps death isn’t really an end, but a mark of a new beginning. To my beautiful kitty, thank you for this gift. Thank you God. Thank you.
