I overheard a convo between a group of girls on the bus yesterday and it reminded me why high school was such a bad place at times. I feel like when you’re younger and tryna fit in you can lose sight of who you are and say/do things to try and be cool. if your group of friends are being mean, you don’t have to join in just because everyone else is. we all love a gossip from time to time but I think it’s important to try not be a dick and be the one that reaches out to the person that’s being picked on. sometimes you don’t realise how damaging your actions can be on someone until you’re older and it’s too late. not tryna preach but overhearing them just reminded me how important it is to be nice ?
