Yesterday’s assembly at Yerba Buena Elementary School strengthened my belief in the value of sports and the importance of communities coming together. These students affected by the Woolsey Fire have been through some really challenging times. Although Agoura High’s softball and baseball teams lost their equipment in the fire, they were at Yerba Buena to give their time to support the younger students. Summer and Winter Olympians participating in the assembly were a surprise, but one of the day’s highlights was when the Agoura High teams saw their new gear. Thank you, @teamusa and the faculty at Yerba Buena/Agoura High for creating such a special day.
