I remember the first time I saw Oribe backstage at a fashion show in NY. I was a starry eyed young fashion girl in total awe of everything around me. Oribe was the genius hairstylist behind my favorite editorial images of the biggest supermodels in the world and the mastermind behind the runway shows of the designers I idolized. I was so star struck by his presence and his smile. Years later I had the honor and privilege of working with Oribe and recall being more nervous to work with him than with the actor we were shooting. Oribe was as kind and generous as he was talented and handsome. He was funny and charming and made everyone he touched look and feel their most beautiful.
