Outrage over the murder of Jamal Khashoggi by Saudi operatives has drawn attention to the Saudi-led war in #Yemen, where airstrikes have hit weddings, funerals and a school bus. Thousands of civilians have died. But at sea, the Saudi-led coalition is also suspected of attacking many fishing boats, killing dozens of people. In August and September, at least 6 Yemeni fishing boats were attacked, killing a total of 50 fishermen. Though both the Saudi-led coalition and their Houthi foes have carried out maritime attacks, experts said there was little doubt that the Saudi-led coalition was responsible for the violence against fishermen. Tyler Kicks shot this photo of the Yemeni fishing boat Amira, which was attacked in August. The boat was scarred by at least 26 bullet holes, and 3 fishermen were killed.
