Today was a special day. I got to spend time with @kristinagillfood who is in town from Rome and has been one of my longest adult friendships and co-worker at DS for the past decade. As we were eating someone dropped this note on our table and walked out. Inside was the kindest message about the work I’m lucky to do- and to do alongside amazing people like Kristina. It’s been a year of ups and downs and this touched my heart in a way I hope this person will know (if you’re reading, thank you E). Sometimes it’s easy to forget that the best parts of any job are meaningful personal connections and this note means more to me than any click or award ever will. Thank you ♥️
