From early on in my life my dad taught me never to give up, especially in the face of adversity #ad. I was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease in high school and it sucked all the energy out of me. At one point I thought I would have to quit basketball. Thanks to the support of my family and the inspiration from my father to never give up, I was able to find the right treatment that helped me not only live with the disease but thrive with it. I’m hopeful that sharing my own story – and how my Dad helped me overcome my own personal obstacles – will inspire others. I’m thankful to @Gillette for giving me the opportunity to do it.
