This week's #RoleModelMonday is Subhreet Kaur Ghumman from Punjab. Subhreet lost her left leg in a road accident in October of 2009 while riding her scooter. She had to undergo 7 operations, and ultimately lost her leg. She did not let this get her down, and continued pursuing her dreams of dancing and auditioned for India's Got Talent! After winning second place in the competition, she became a household name in India; stunning audiences with her dance moves on one leg. Her determination to recover and her true passion for dance gave her the confidence needed to become infamous in not only India, but beyond. She has lived according to her life motto: "Never give up...nothing is impossible." Thank you for being such an amazing role model.
