#JamieHawkesworth A blue painted face ? An exhibition open until December 19th at 1-7 Aylesbury Street London featuring 59 drawings, a film and 7 photographs. ‘The whole show is based around the idea of being very open to chance: every single piece exhibited takes you to the next one, creating this sort of path, of rhythm. All the images were taken in different part of the world, the film was shot in Kenya, the drawings done in London, a photo was taken in Louisiana, a text was written in Canada. But I do think they all sit together quite happily because they all exist in that kind of motion, that joy of creating and exploring and being open to surprise. I liked the idea of introducing people to these energies in different media, not just photographs. I really hope that the show feels like a natural flow.
