One of 2 pieces I picked up in Cuba while on a surprise birthday trip courtesy of @jaimefaith3. I loved the mixed media usage and the brush strokes. This piece is by Cuban contemporary artist Rafael Perez Alonso. The art in Cuba is really amazing. If you are so inclined to visit, make a point of trying to see artists studios. You will be happy you did. Hopefully soon this art will be more easily accessible to all of us.
