Gender equity in Para-surfing: it’s a requirement for Paralympic sport status, it’s important for the growth of female athletes with disabilities and.... it’s just an important natural balance.

At last nights #adaptivesurfing symposium I talked about how it takes a whole nation to raise strong female surfers and how it’s really partly the responsibility of men in leadership positions to encourage women to own their space in the mostly male-dominated line up. .
It takes a lot of guts for women to paddle out and it helps to know we our dude surfer friends have our back. Let’s do this together!
