As many of you know about me, I love food. Not just because it tastes good, but because it really is the great connecter of people. No matter what race, religion or where you are in your life, we all sit down to eat and “feed” our body. That’s why I am so honored to be a part of #raisingfoodie where we teach young moms in foster care how to feed their kids healthy, nutritious and inexpensive meals. When we started #foodstirs, we wanted to keep the experience that comes with cooking and baking, but make it easy and affordable. So you can imagine how proud I am that Foodstirs has now partnered with Raising Foodie. Last night we brought a bunch of our friends together to learn more about what we are doing together and to spread some holiday cheer. With everyone’s busy schedules, it meant so much that you took the time out to join us and make cookies for these deserving kids in foster care.
