This is the highest peak in the North East portion of Mt. Hiuchigatake.
Along with Mt. Shibutsu it’s a symbol of Oze and is one of Japan’s one-hundred famous mountains. When the wind is calm you can see a reflection of it in the waters of Lake Ozenuma.
Many hikers come here with the hope of being able to see this phenomenon if their luck is right.

The reflection is not complete, and you can see trees hanging down, Mt. Hiuchigatake, the surface of the water, and foliage in the foreground. I think being able to see so much of the foreground deepens the picture.

燧ケ岳（ひうちがたけ）は東北地方最高峰。

至仏山と共に尾瀬を代表する山で、日本百名山にも選ばれています。風がない日には、尾瀬沼に映る逆さ燧を見ることができます。

この現象が見られるかどうか、多くのハイカーが自らの運試しをします。

リフレクション（水面への写り込み）は万全でないが、覆いかぶさる木々、燧ケ岳、水面、手前の植物を欲張りに盛り込んだ一枚。手前にあるものを写すことで深みが増す。
