I love tradition. Especially during the holiday season ⛄️. I love sharing old traditions with my kiddos from when I was a kid to new traditions we are starting together as a family. Instead of #FarmtoTable I call it #FamilytoFamily .

When I was a kid we had the traditional plastic advent calendars. They had little pockets holding tiny chocolates and paper doors closing them in that were numbered 1-24. We would open each day of December prior to Christmas Day and get a bite of chocolate. I always looked forward to getting mine yearly.

As an adult, they now make super big and fancy product filled advent calendars. But, I always make sure we get our 5 young kiddos the same chocolate filled advent calendars I got as a kid. They are simple but filled with yummy childhood memories and traditions passed down that my kids will carry on ... Do you have a favorite childhood holiday tradition you now do with your own family?
