Y’all this is crazy, we have gone international, and about 400,000 people in France will be reading this article written about me on their commute tomorrow. ?? I like to share my journey with you guys in the hopes that it continues to inspire you wherever you live and whatever your background is never to give up. I come from an immigrant family that struggled to make a living in this country. Because of the struggle, I used my skill while in school to help me earn extra cash for myself that eventually helped put me through a few semesters of college. I could not receive financial aid at the time, so my skill was what helped me pay for tuition. I eventually opted not to continue with college and pursue a career in hair. No handouts, no luck, just pure hard work and dedication to the craft is what got me here. Throughout this process, I’ve made it my business to break stereotypes and break through glass ceilings in hopes to open up doors for you all that don’t think it’s possible to get to the level in your career that your trying to go.  Prepare for the moment when it’s your turn. Stay ready, so you never have to get ready, that’s something I teach my assistants all the time. I haven’t fully translated what they have written about me, but “The next @patmcgrathreal of hair” comparison took me out ! ?????. You're too generous @stylistfrance.  THANK YOU!!! This is all for you guys, to make it easier for you to have a seat at the table when you're up next to bat. Love Y'all for riding with me. If you're in France ??, pick up a copy tomorrow and tag me in your photo and help us translate this article in the comments ? ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
