The Princess Royal meets some of Goral and Son’s 40 skilled craftspeople, whilst on a visit to open the Sheffield shoemaker’s new factory.

During a tour of the factory last week, Her Royal Highness viewed the production process - each pair of shoes from Goral and Son is handcrafted - from leather cutting to assembling, stitching and polishing.

HRH is President of the UK Fashion and Textile Association and visited Goral in support of UKFT’s Let’s Make It Here initiative, which celebrates Britain’s rich manufacturing heritage.
