Couldn’t resist trying on my new Toga wig! A lot of you have asked for a tutorial but because I’m just winging it 99% of the time I don’t feel like I can do a proper one. However I’ve attached a few photos of the process (sorry for potato quality) and I’ll try to explain what I did! First I started with a Chibi pigtail wig in Ash Blonde from @ardawigs in the large size (comes in small or large, but I always find its best to go bigger and then use the elastic to adjust the size). I took two donut shaped bun makers in the medium size and put them over each pigtail, and have two elastic hair ties ready. Take the tail and spread the hair as evenly as possible around the bun maker, and when you feel you have it even without any gaps you put the hair tie over and around the bun! Once you have your bun, you’ll want many bobby pins on hand so that you can take some strands and spiral it around the hair tie in order to hide it. Arda wigs are incredibly thick and have too much hair, to you’ll want thinning shears and hair cutting scissors to get your spikes to the length you want! This took several hours for me. I used styling wax to separate and give dimension to the spikes, and cut off a few long flyaways to hot glue into the center of the bun. I used a ton of hair spray to keep everything in place as I went. From there I pretty much just messed around with it until I was satisfied! Since this wig has short sides on it and Toga has ones that are a bit longer, I bought wefts to sew in and then trim to her length as well. I know this isn’t a proper tutorial, but I hope it helps give an idea of what I did!❤️?
